Pre Fall Shopping: The Wool Coat

By Posted on 1

Well, the last days were quite depressing here in Germany. You started thinking that summer could be over. It got colder and the rain didn’t stop. Besides that everybody keeps complaining about the weather I have to admit that autumn actually is my favourite season of the year. I do like cooler temperatures, I’m not that big summer 30 degrees fan. What I like most about the upcoming season is that you can start layering with different textures without sweating and melting away :D I’m a big fan of wool, cashmere and love to mix it up with softer ones like silk or other thin cottonwear. Also I love to wear hats. And let’s be honest: It looks a little bit ridicilous when you wearing a wool hat in summer ;)

New In: The Wool Coat

So when the first rain drops startet to fall I was up looking for some new fall pieces and I’ve chosen two beautiful WOOL COATs. They are both from the current Mango collection. The one in beige HERE has a more static cut and a beautiful golden detail on the collar. I absolutely love this soft beige because it matches my brown accessories perfectly. Actually I wanted to go for ONE coat only but the other one is so different but also extraordinary that I couldn’t resist. The grey one HERE is longer and can be wrapped up with a belt. It looks more elegant and gives you a feminine silhouette if you tie it up. It reminds me a bit of some military style.

Find Your Favourite

A wool coat is an essential piece which shouldn’t be missing in your closet. There are also lots of beautiful ones on sale now. You’ll find a selection of my favourite coats for you underneath! My personal styling advice: Choose a longer coat for a more elegant style but if you’re not as tall as I am (I’m 1,66m) be aware of coats that are ending way under your knees. You might look smaller than you actually are.
